Fascinating. I listened to the audio clip of the words, and I'm pretty sure that I'll never be able to say "Seattle" properly (or Snohomish, either).
Tammy, please, I have a hard enough time trying to teach people how to pronounce “Chicago” – and no, it’s not a Native American thing. It’s a Chicago thing.
For those of you keeping score at home, it’s Chi-caw-go, not Chi-caaaah-go, ’kay?
And don’t even get me started on that crap they call “pizza” in New York …

Dave, you done throwed down the gawnt-lit. NYC pizza by the slice from a stall in midtown on a cold-assed night rules. And down here on the edge of the Green Swamp, it's Shu-car-gow, more or less, but I defer to your authority because it's pronounced however you folks pronounce it. I also bow to your bakeries.
