Wow! Day One.
Hi and Welcome to our corner of the world! We're glad to have you here to talk about books, politics, baseball, or even your cats. Especially your cats. And how they love to curl around you while you read.
We hope to offer good conversation, charm and wit to your blogging lives! Feel free to contribute your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions. We'll see how it goes!
We will be using Tammy's MySpace page for instant bulletins, and greedy acquistion of new best friends. But you know, you're already our best friend! Ever!

Welcome to the blogosphere, Tammy and Dan! It's different when you have your own, you'll find - YOU get to choose what to rant about, instead of having to wait for Adam to make up his mind. Come and see me some time at Hedera's Corner (shameless blog-whoring here), see my link.
By the way, your links for Fran! and the Unapologetic Mexican are broken, you need to fix. Take a look and you'll see...
Dang! I thought I got that all fixed! sigh!
hey, hedera, thanks. And congrats on retirement. I'm envious. Though, as I've said elsewhere, I still enjoy talking to people about books. That's the best thing about the work I do. I can talk about books I like to people I like. That's why we're still here.
Okay, the picture for Dan is mighty small, but I just don't believe that's him...not enough hair, for one thing. However, Tammy's photo is completely believable. What a babe!
your pal, cooper
It was nice meeting you guys last Tuesday at D.L.
Sorry I had to leave so soon--usually they have to throw me out. I hope you'll stop by again so we can chat some more.
I'll join some more a-blogging
with you, fair whore(s).
Guess you know the lead-in panel (or whatever it's called) has politics without the t. Read aloud as poli-icks is not without merit, however.

Thanks for the proofreading Anon David! Got that one fixed! Now to correct the linkies!
Excellent work on your next step into cyberspace. You know that I always hold fabulous thoughts for your store and both of you.
Looking forward to Jackson Street growing more friends and customers.
LOVE ggirl
Whoa, Seattle D & T ... I go into semi-retirement and you swoop in to the blogosphere?! Well, better you than me.
Oh, and by the way, Dan ... Cubs are in first place (for the moment) in the NL "Central" (I refuse to recognize such a thing; it'll always be the NL East to me ...).
Cheers,
Dave
Maybe it will be a Mariner-Cubs series!
Welcome! I'm putting you on my favorites toot sweet. Even though I don't like baseball, I understand about obsessions.
And even though my cat is pure black evil, I believe there are good cats, kind of like how I believe in ghosts.
Hey Tammy (and Dan)! Good to see your blog. I'll pop in and out as I can (I just finished the page proofs for the latest knitting book, due out in Feb 08, and I hope to start a new book soon).
Have fun!
Maybe, Dan ... still, I'm not sure how I feel about yer Mariners beatin' up on th' White Sox. As a Cub fan, I'm supposed to hate the Sox ... still, I can't bring myself to root against 'em.
L'Chaim!
Dan and Tammy: Congratulations on this fresh footprint in the virtual realm!

We'll have that Google ranking zooming up in no time!
Thanks for all your good wishes! We aim to amuse here.
Wish I lived in a mews. Do you have one near Jackson Street Books to which one might aim, Tammy? I always envied the people who got to live in that mews near NYU. And I know of at least one really cool mews in Philadelphia, which I cannot imagine is not still there.
Are linkies some kind of sex toys? Just askin'.

Welcome to the blogosphere (or, as the folks at Making Light call it, the fluorosphere, or, as skippy the bush kangaroo calls it, blogtopia [and yes, he coined that name!]!
I'm over here.
