Yesh we can!
Mutts is doing a series of strips to help the Obamas pick a dog. I just signed up to get the emails!

I want you to know, Tammy, that I was pushing the get-a-mutt-from-a-shelter idea some time ago!
Also, I should point out that Obama has picked up the habit of describing himself as a mutt – a habit he must’ve gotten from me!
Our dog is a pound puppy - 90 pounds, that is - and he is such a joy. I can't believe that anyone could let this smart, beautiful, loving, hilarious dog go to the pound to be put down. Their loss, our gain.
