Today, Barack gave the most amazing speech. Eloquent, Lincolnesque, JFK and MLK ring here. This is a speech for the ages and you need to listen to it entirely.Peace Love and Understanding, my friends!

Gotta love the Nick Lowe version, by the way!

I mean, I loves me some Elvis (as in, If your Elvis is dead, try ours ...), but Nick Lowe wrote the damn song.

Nice touch.

Yeah, I luv Nick. We got to see him a coupla years back at Bumbershoot, our local music fest. He was solo, on acoustic guitar. Signed off with this.

Back in the 80's (shiver!) I saw Nick Lowe and Paul Carrack open for Tom Petty at the U. of Ill. Assembly Hall ... way cool.

I especially loved Rockpile. I think Seconds of Pleasure is the best album title of all time. I've probably said that before ...
